big words & symbolisms
hide behind unsubstantiated affections &
spiritual traditions that
obsess over a Creator
we are terrified to meet
"forsake this world
in favor of the Hereafter"
what is life in a world
filled with oppression & death??
i will welcome death standing
in the light of day
never in the shadows,
ready to rejoin The Source

the most horrible news that could ever be
how can this be true??
two-thirds of a year has now gone by
still my mind, heart, spirit cannot make do
i will make them pay.
though the debt they owe is much too steep
how did they get to you my love??
did they trap you in your sleep?
what a tragedy it is, this loss!
there simply are no words to convey
how the very ones for whom you fought
murdered then tried to toss you away
but they did not pay attention
for fools rush where the wise never tread
you and i are one; comrades!
they will receive the unexpected instead!
